Samsung enters Radiology Market with RS80A

With the launch of its brand new RS80A ultrasound system, Samsung Electronics has made a sound and powerful entry in the global radiology market. RS80A is a premium ultrasound system that is engineered for an incomparable picture quality and functions required for the enhanced diagnostic performance. The very first product of Samsung Medison aims to target the radiology section which has the largest share in the diagnostic imaging market.

For ideal general imaging, Samsung RS80A provides the experts with an excellent ultrasound performance and solutions. The classic features of this device includes, 5 probe port and electronic console (up-down and sidewise) movement, 23-inch HD LED Screen, and 13.3 inch full function touch screen along with a tilt feature. It also has a digital TGC with 10 ports which offers easy control with the support of the reference image on the touch panel.

As per the company representatives, the RS80A’s S-Vision Architecture produces exceptional images with the assistance of newly developed S-Vision Beam former and Imaging Enginem, whereas the 23 inch LED monitor helps in getting clearer, richer and brighter display.

In addition to that, it also has S-Detect facility which uses the standardized Breast Imaging-Reporting and Data System (BI-RADS) score for examination and taxonomy of targeted areas. More effective diagnosis is achieved by S-Detect as it reduces redundant biopsies and saves time by simplifying the procedures.
